The Story of FoxMoor Farms
A farm built on the belief that the old ways still matter.
Foxmoor Farms is more than a farm—it's a commitment to preservation. Nestled across rolling acres, we raise cattle for exceptional freezer beef, tend heritage orchards heavy with heirloom fruit, and cultivate vineyards that speak to the terroir of this land. Our rare-breed chickens roam freely, producing eggs of uncommon quality, while our Champagne d'Argent rabbits carry a lineage centuries in the making.
Everything here grows with intention. Every breed we raise, every seed we plant, every bottle we pour tells the story of a farm that refuses to forget where good food comes from.
Foxmoor Farms began with a simple conviction: that the breeds, varieties, and traditions being abandoned by industrial agriculture are worth saving. We saw heritage cattle sold off for commodity prices, rare chicken breeds disappearing from the countryside, and heirloom orchards bulldozed for easier, blander crops.
So we started collecting. Heritage breed cattle with genetics tracing back generations. Champagne d'Argent rabbits, a French breed prized for centuries. Chickens so rare that some exist in only a handful of flocks worldwide. Fruit trees bearing varieties your grandmother might remember but your children have never tasted.
Today, Foxmoor is a working conservation farm—a place where these living treasures can thrive, reproduce, and find their way back into the world.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We don't believe in shortcuts. Our cattle are never given growth hormones or unnecessary antibiotics. Our chickens forage on pasture, eating bugs and greens as nature intended. Our orchards and vineyards are tended by hand, not sprayed into submission.
This approach takes longer. It requires more care. But the results speak for themselves—in the marbling of our beef, the deep orange of our egg yolks, the complexity of flavors in our fruit and vegetables.
We farm this way because we believe food should taste like something. And because we believe the land deserves stewards, not extractors.
The Land
Foxmoor spans acres of pasture, woodland, orchards, and vineyards. The property includes heritage barns that have sheltered livestock for generations, spring-fed ponds that water our herds, and soil that improves each year under our regenerative practices. Every corner of this land has a purpose, and every purpose serves the whole.
Looking Forward
Get in Touch
Our mission extends beyond our own fences. By raising rare breeds successfully, we demonstrate that heritage genetics have commercial viability. By selling breeding stock, we help other farmers start their own conservation efforts. By offering our products directly to consumers, we prove there's a market for food grown with care.
The breeds we raise survived centuries because they were useful, hardy, and delicious. We're here to make sure they survive centuries more.
